About Korean KC

KC is a system based on the Korean Radio Law. Machines designated under this system must be certified or registered for conformity and labeled as specified.The applicable equipment is specified by a notification of the National Radio Research and Research Institute (NRRA) of Korea.
According to the NRRA Notification No. 2023-24, effective June 29, 2024, equipment falling under any of the following categories is excluded from the conformity assessment.Equipment used in an industrial environment, such as machinery and equipment, packaging machinery, and machine tools under the "Industrial Safety Insurance Law".Equipment used exclusively in an industrial environment, such as machinery and equipment used in a manufacturing environment in the industrial classification table.

About Korean KC compliance

All Yamaha robots (robots and controllers) are designed and manufactured for use in an industrial environment.Yamaha robots are not subject to the regulations of the Korean KC.
In accordance with the public notice, the KC mark will not be displayed on Yamaha robot products after the effective date.However, product testing, including EMC testing, will continue as before.Cartesian Coordinate Robots and SCARA Robots with 3 or more axes must be compliant with the Korean KCs. Please also refer to the list of KCs-compliant robots.

Labeling changes due to the exclusion of KCs from the list of KCs

The KC mark has been removed from newly shipped products in order to comply with the new requirements, but some robots shipped after the date of enforcement may still have the KC mark.
